Day 66: The best exercise in the world...

Over the last two days, I have done the best exercise in the world.

What is it, you ask?

It's whatever you can do that is fun and doesn't feel like exercise.

My last two days have been on Lake Michigan in Ludington.  The first day, I walked two miles out to the pier and back, up and down hills, and through the sand for about 1.5 hours.  Day 2, I went to the state park in Ludington, walking up and down the beach for more than an hour.  It was absolutely restorative to my soul, and much physical labor for my body.  (Not to mention the chance to see God's amazing creation).

This weekend I'm going to work to "recreate" that feeling back here in the Lansing area.  I'll keep you posted.

  1. We enjoyed Lake Michigan as well - a week or so after you. Beautiful isn't it?!
