Day 2: Challenges
How do I celebrate food and exercise when I'm so busy? Challenge one is figuring out how to work it in as a joy when it's crazy busy. The work stress is crowding out the time to myself, and the work hours are making it difficult to go shopping; plan meals; and actually cook them!
So let's start with exercise. Tomorrow is a 7:30-5:30 work day. I need to plan now on the work out time--and I already know I'm working through lunch.
I'm deciding now to work out at 6:00, right when I get home. Larry gets to plan and make dinner so I can do that. I'm deciding now that breakfast will be a fruit smoothie, lunch will be the chilled vegetarian soup from Zoup and a side salad (no bread or veggie chips).
Other people make exercise and food choices work among similarly busy schedules. I can too.
Food today: breakfast: fruit smoothie, lunch egg drop soup and chinese veggies, dinner pasta salad with broccoli, ham, celery, tomatoes, and red wine vinegar. Snack: air popped popcorn.
