Day 9-12: The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly

I was traveling, this week, which is probably obvious since I didn't post for the last three days.

When I travel and work alot, I default into the easiest thing to do.  So what's easy?  Swinging into fast food.  Eating the high carb/high fat food served at conferences.  Not exercising.  And it's not like I wasn't discussing this same problem in my last post.

I do not have a chance to beat Larry at my goal if I don't buckle down.  So what does it take to buckle down?

1.  Good food choices at home, in my car, and at the office.  I need to always have good food nearby, so that I don't grab bad food choices.

2.  Exercise before 1:00 pm.  Always.  No exceptions.  If it doesn't happen then, it is unlikely to happen when I get  home.

A couple of great things happened today: 1)  Emma wants to do couch to 5k with me. I'm exciting to have a buddy.  Both of us see  the doctor this week, so it will be a good kick-off.  2)  Larry got fun veggies from the Farmers Market.  Today I'm going to do something fun with green onions.

  1. That is so neat that Emma's doing it with you! I wish I lived close enough that we could do it together.
